Troop 679 & Scoutmaster Bill Stevens welcome you!
Troop 679 is open to all boys 11 - 18 years of age who want to experience the adventure of scouting.
Troop 679 is a boy-led organization emphasizing fun and rewarding activities which are designed to improve technical skills and leadership abilities.
Boy Scouting is not just another activity to attend. It is a value oriented learning program specifically aimed at building good character,
citizenship, moral responsibility and physical & mental fitness. We follow methods that are tried and true as outlined by the Boy Scouts of America.
Boy Scouting is a “family participation” activity. All members of the family are welcome at all Troop and Patrol Meetings.
We also encourage parents & grandparents to volunteer! Join our troop adults in the many adult positions which help our troop run smoothly,
or perhaps your expertise would best be shared as a Merit Badge Counselor.
Weekly meetings are held at the SDCE Recreation Center (Weiss House) at Ramona Oaks Park on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:00 PM.
