Group shot at the trailhead.
The trail is rather circuitous and it climbs and descends through a canyon on the way up. You can see the trailhead parking lot on the left.
There were a few areas that were burned in the Witch fire of 2007.
Mt. Gower in the distance. You can also see the burned area where the trail goes up the peak.

Another shot from the summit looking west. We could see the ocean and San Clemente Island and Mt. Baldy near LA.
That black dot is a mine on the hillside.

The mine turned out to be a dead end after about 10 feet, but it was still fun to check out.
